GENERAL
- Competition open to any visual artist over the age of 18
- All submitted work must be for sale
- Artwork may be of any subject
- All works must be original works, prints of original works are not accepted
- Maximum size of an artwork is 1m x 1m
- All submitted works will be exhibited
- Works that do not comply with the hanging requirements will not be accepted and no refunds will be offered
- DEADLINE for entries - 20th August 2023
- Please keep in mind that this exhibition is run exclusively by volunteers

ENTRY
- Entry fee is £5 per work
- Maximum three framed, three unframed (mounted) works and three works of other types
- Works will be received at the Community Hall in East Linton on Monday 4th September between 4pm and 6.30pm
- Fee payment needs to be made before 4th September 2023. Please note we cannot accept payment on the day of submission

This year we are changing how you enter East Linton Art Exhibition. You will be asked to complete an electronic form to enter your art works. The form is now available and a link is at the bottom of this page. Completing the form will be the only method to enter your art works in to East Linton Art Exhibition.

CONDITIONS
Works are at all times submitted at the owner's risk and insurance, if required, must be arranged by the artist. Transport to and from the exhibition will be at the artist's expense and risk.
All works must be clearly labelled on the rear with artist's name, artwork title, medium and price.
All works for hanging must have D-rings and cord securely attached ready to be hanged.
By submitting artwork, the artist agrees to abide by the rules & regulations of the Competition and to allow photographs of the work to appear in the press and social media if required.
SALES AND COMMISSION
A commission of 20% on catalogue price will be charged on all works sold during the exhibition, whether through East Linton Community Association or otherwise the Association must be informed of any private sales, otherwise a sale made by the Association will take precedence.
REMOVAL
- No work will be removed from the exhibition before the closing date
- All works must be removed within the following times:
Each artist shall be deemed to have accepted the above condition as a binding agreement whereby the ownership of the work is relinquished by the artist and transferred to the East Linton Community Association if it is not collected within the noted times.
